Ten Sambar deer were found dead at various spots under Mukkurathi
National Park, about 60-km from Udhagamandalam in Tamil Nadu, officials
said.Senior forest department officials found the carcasses at different places, department sources said.
Conservator of Forests Kandasamy and District Officer, Badrasamy were among those who inspected the spot to ascertain the cause of the death.
